Big things going on here at Hillbilly Casino HQ!!! Rockabilly Christmas, starring yours truly starts on November 14th and runs through December 24th. Its at Opryland Hotel here in Nashville. Its free and fun for the whole family so come on out! Showtimes are 6:00, 7:00 and 8:00 pm, Wednesday thru Sunday.

Our new Christmas record "Hang Your Stocking and Say Your Prayers" is coming out on November 18th and is available for preorder now! We're super-super-super-duper psyched about it! Take care y'all!

10/21/08 This weekend we'll be in the always rockin' Fort Wayne IN (Friday) at Kaysan's 5th Down and in Indianapolis (Saturday) at Radio Radio!!! Indiana is always great to us so its a good bet this weekend's gonna rule!!!

Well its up to the windy city for 2 shows with 3 Blue Teardrops this weekend! Friday we'll be in Crown Point, IN at Buddy and Pals and Saturday in Chicago, IL at the Bottom Lounge also on the bill is Hillbilly Idle!

We're also gonna be opening for the always awesome Southern Culture On The Skids on October 1st here in Nashville at the Mercy Lounge. Fun Fun Fun!

We got a great weekend coming up!!! Friday we'll be at Layla's Bluegrass Inn here in Nashville like normal. Then Saturday we'll be at the 5 Spot here in Nashville with 3 AWESOME bands, The Gin Palace Jesters (Chicago) Ruby Dee and the Snakehandlers (Seattle) and Porter Hall Tennessee (Nashville). Gonna be a great night!!!

Then on Sunday we're gonna be in Memphis at the High Tone with Ruby Dee and the Snakehandlers and the 3 Bad Jacks (LA) !!! Fun Fun Fun!!! Can't wait and hope to see ya'll tennesseans this weekend!!!

8/13/08 OK friends there's been some confusion about friday night in Fort Wayne, IN. We are ONLY playing at the Foellinger-Friemann Botanical Conservatory!!! There was talk about some of us being part of a jam after the show, it ain't happening folks. So the only opprotunity for you Indiana-ers to get your Hillbilly Casino fix will be at the Conservatory. C'mon out this friday and have a blast with us, we're psyched!!! Remember to get there early and hang out with us!!!

2 things friends...

1 - 3 Step Windup is finally on itunes. Feel free to order it impulsively! Your credit card has tons of room, trust me!

2 - We gonna be rockin' the Foellinger-Friemann Botanical Conservatory in Fort Wayne, Indiana this friday!!! We go on a little after 9 PM but get there early to hang out!!! Sweetwater is handling the sound so we'll be in good hands for a rockin' evening!!! Last year this show was rained out so this year we're gonna crank up the fun machine twice as hard!!! Good times!!!

7/23/08 Well we're back from our little "vacation" and are ready to get crackin'. Next weekend we're off to Chattanooga and Atlanta. First time we've been to both those cities so it should be a good time for sure! We've also got a christmas album in the works so expect a little holiday cheer in the next few months. Fun Fun Fun!

Happy 4th of July!!! Things here at Hillbilly Casino HQ are moving along great! Thanks to Rancid and crew for a great time last friday! Opening for Rancid RULED!!!

Looking forward to Richmond KY this weekend at T-Bombs. Always a good time!

We just confirmed that we're gonna be doing a bunch of shows opening for the one and only Dale Watson at the Onedia Casino in Green Bay, WI this January. We can accept the fact that Dale and co. are gonna take us to country music college every night and that's cool! It builds character.

6/5/08 The next two weekends are gonna be awesome!!! We got St. Louis for the FIRST TIME this Saturday with the awesome 7 Shot Screamers on June 7th... Roanoke, VA on June 13th... and then Shaenandoa Harley-Davidson in Stauton, VA on June 14th!!! Looking forward to the shows no doubt!!! Good times!!!

Well we're back from Europe!!! We had the best time in Norway and Ireland. Thanks so much to Bergenfest and the Kilkenny Rythem and Roots festival!!!

The response to 3 Step has been great and now we have some time to promote it. For those of you in Nashville we have 2 HUGE gigs coming up at the end of june.

1 - King Doublebass gig with Doyle Bramhall and 3 Blue Teardrops at Exit/In on June 21st!!! A custom King Doublebass will be up for raffle so c'mon out to this special show!

2 - RANCID!!!! We're gonna be opening for one of our heroes here in Nashville at Rocketown on June 27th. Th' Legendary Shack Shakers are gonna be on the bill as well!!! WOW!!! GET TICKETS EARLY!!!

OUR CD RELEASE GIG!!!!! April 26th here in Nashville at the 5 Spot. Joining us will be the 7 Shot Screamers and The Clutters!!! It's been hard working getting 3 Step Windup done but its been well worth it!!!

Also, unfortuatly we're gonna be at a different venue than Th' Legendary Shack Shakers in Bergen. We'll be at Hinsides at midnight. Come rock out!!! Can't wait to go to Europe!!!

We're off to the the Pacific Northwest tomorrow for shows at The Anchor in Everett, WA (Saturday) and Duff's Garage in Portland, OR (Sunday)! Come rock out!

We're wraping up the new record everybody. Gonna have it done by the Europe gigs!

Looking forward to rockin' Coyotes in Louisville, KY (2/28) and Mr. Eds in Port Clinton, OH (3/1) next weekend. At the Port Clinton show we'll be rockin' with our pals Death By Rodeo. See ya'll at the shows!

1/13/08 WE'RE OFF TO EUROPE!!! It's about time the Hillbilly Casino crossed the great Atlantic. We're gonna be rockin' Bergenfest in Bergen, Norway (April 30th) and The Kilkenny Rhythm and Roots Festival in Kilkenny, Ireland (May 2-5th). We can't wait!!!

Hi Folks, this Saturday, tomorrow at the 5 Spot in Nashville is gonna rule. Gabe Zander (Nashville), Ruby Dee and the Snake Handlers (Seattle), Skeeter Truck (Los Angeles) and us are gonna have a night of rockin' in store for y'all! Don't wanna miss it! Showtime is 9 pm.

Finished the drum tracks for the new record. Our gigging schedule is so busy these days that we're gonna chip away at the new record as fast as possible. We'll keep ya posted. So far so good!

Got a great month up ahead!

First off, we'll be hosting our pals The Marauders from PA on September 22nd here in Nashville at the 5 Spot. The Marauders did some shows with Setzer last winter as well. That's how we got in touch. Quality band for sure! That will be a fun one!

SEATTLE!!! We gonna be playing the Shake The Shack Rockabilly Ball in Seattle on September 28th. Gonna be a great time for all you Pacific Northwesterners. Look for us on a compilation CD from that show as well.

Hey folks... we're gonna have some cool coverage in the new issue of Rockabilly Magazine. You can pick up the magazine at any Hot Topic after the 18th. Our pal Doug at RockStepCreative has put up some new video on YouTube and Ifilm. The footage is from our gig earlier this year with Southern Culture On The Skids. Doug has been documenting our shenanigans for an upcoming documentary on the band. More info to come on that for sure!!! Thanks Doug!!!

5/24/07 June News...
 Well the band just got back from our Midwest run this past weekend.  GREAT SHOWS!!!!  Flatfoot 56's release gig was amazing as was the Rockin' 50's Fest in Green Bay.  Lots of great bands at both gigs!!!    June is packed with great shows here in Nashville as well as Ohio and Kentucky.  Can't wait!!!  We've also started demoing tunes for the new record so check back for some new music!!! We are actively looking for assistance with booking!  Be it regional or national rock, rockabilly or country gigs, casinos, colleges, private or corporate events, etc.  If you are or know somebody who may be interested in booking for the band, get in touch!

This time of year is gonna be rockin' for the Casino!  We're gonna be heading to Knoxville TN (5/4), Roanoke VA (5/5), Ft. Wayne IN (5/18), FLATFOOT 56's CD release gig in Burbank (Chicago) IL (5/19), The Rockin' 50's Fest III in Green Bay WI (5/20), Louisville (6/2) and more to be announced as well! 
Along with our gigs here in Nashville we're busy busy busy!  Just how we like it!

3/10/07 March News... Lots of cool stuff friends!
1 - We're headin' up to Ft. Wayne, Indiana and Detroit, Michigan later this month.  In Ft. Wayne on the 16th we'll be at The Mid City Grille and in Detroit on the 17th (St. Patricks Day!) at Smalls.  We're being hosted in Detroit by our pals, and one of the best bands ever, The Twistin' Tarantulas!  Can't wait for that one!

2 - We're gonna be at a new place here in Nashville, The Music City Bar and Grille on March 24th!  Come get rockin' at a cool new joint!!!  The place is right across from Opryland.  Check out their site at http://musiccitybar.com.  Ruby Dee and The Snake Handlers from Washington state will be joining us for that fine night o' Rockin'!

3 - We just found out we're gonna be playing with Southern Culture On The Skids at the Mercy Lounge here in Nashville on April 6th.  That should be a goodin' as well! Take Care Everybody!

1/01/07 --2006 went out with a bang!!! Ready for a new year of ROCKIN'?!!

Few things…

1- Thanks SO MUCH to Brian Setzer and crew for making the tour beyond awesome!!! Great venues, great crowds and of course great rockin' every night from Brian and the Orchestra!!! We're still not over the blast we had.

Hey folks, welcome to the new thehillbillycasino.com .  The end of '06 is going to be crazy for us.  We're opening 7 dates on The Brian Setzer Orchestra's Christmas Extravaganza tour!!!  This is gonna take the Casino out to the west coast for the 1st time ever!  Can't wait!  We're also gonna put out that record we've been talking about this December.  It'll be called "Sucker Punched" and it'll be worth the long wait, promise.  We're finally in the home stretch for that nasty little rascal to invade your welcoming ears with its rock n' roll fury!  This record will surprise some, but that makes it exciting.
